Springtime is Here!! A collection of New Spring Flower Rubber Stamps

26 March, 2017

I gathered a few early spring flowers put them in a jam jar and sketched them straight onto a piece of Lino.

After a few hours of therapeutic lino cutting I had a collection of spring flowers that are perfect for mothers day and Easter Cards, and any Springtime Birthdays or Weddings.

I have stamped these using a variety of versa colour and versa craft ink pads, some with a bit of a mix of two colours. I must try to make a little bit of video to show the techniques I used, it really is very easy and quick.

New Rubber Stamps to Celebrate Buying Handmade

21 March, 2017

I have been using my Thank you heart stamp as a little thank you slip to go in with my orders when I am packing then up. I know that I have sold quite a fw of these to customers to use for the same purpose in their business.

I decided it was time to add a few new stamp designs for this purpose . Maybe you like making handmade gifts for friends and family or for your own business selling handmade things. It adds that personal touch to include a little stamped card with maybe a handwritten note.

I have developed three new designs all developed from lino cuts, there is Thank You for Buying Handmade,   also the Vintage Sewing Machine Hand Made With Love, and the Hand made by me for anyone who loves making gifts or products using crochet.

Landscape and Running Hare Cushion

19 June, 2016

This was a fun experiment . I had a go at making a really big stamp of the snowscape stamp, then i inked it up using some more springlike shades. I stamped the large stamp by putting it face down on the fabric then staining on it, and ahem.. thanks to my not inconsiderable weight I got a great stamped impression. The hare was stamped on afterwards. Then I sketched some pencil lines for the flower stems, then sewed over the pencil lines using a narrow zigzag and dark grey cotton. The flower head and leaf stamps I made from enlarged flower silhouette stamps. I then stamped these along the sewn lines and voila!!

I am looking forward to teaching all these tecniques at Abigail's Drapery in Lewes at the cushion stamping workshops I will be running there, places are still available, email me for course dates (it is £25.00) per 1-2hour workshop.

Circle Flowers Stamped Cushion

16 June, 2016

This cushion was stamped using a variety of flower and circle stamps using some lovely bright colours. These stamps were not all mounted on perspex so they did not all line up perfectly but this kind of adds to the charm, I hope !!!

Triangles Cushion

14 June, 2016

This cushion is stamped using triangles mounted on perspex blocks to make lining up the blocks quite easy. The ink pads used are versa craft and these ink pads are washable if stamped in natural fabrics and ironed after stamping. I like the way the blues, blue greens and core all work together in this design.

Cushion Stamping Work Shops

14 June, 2016

I have been doing quite a bit of experimenting with stamping on fabric lately in preparation for a series of workshops I will be teaching in Lewes in a shop called Abigail's Drapery. I designed some new stamps with these workshops in mind and have been having a great time combining colours and inking up stamps with a a mixture of versa craft ink pads mixed with some fabric paint. Here are some of the cushions I stamped, and some of the new noolibird stamp designs I used.

25 October, 2015

It's been a busy few weeks at Noolibird HQ but finally I'm pleased to announce our New Range of Christmas Stamps is here!

The lino-cut designs in particular are very time consuming to create but I'm pleased with how they have evolved and added a new look and feel to the range. I really hope you enjoy using them to make your own wonderful festive creations again this year and would love to see how you get on!

Love Nula x
